This policy explains what personal information Your Platform ("we") collects when you use the marketplace as a client or a freelancer, why we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account details: name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash), account type, mobile number, city and country.
• Profile details: photo, headline, category, skills, bio, rates, experience, languages, education, certifications and portfolio items you choose to publish.
• Projects and work: projects, proposals, contracts, milestones, messages and files you exchange on the platform.
• Payments: payment status and references from our payment provider. Card, UPI and bank details are entered on the provider's page and never reach our servers.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type and activity logs used for security and fraud prevention.

How we use it

• To run your account, show your public profile and match projects with freelancers.
• To process payments and payouts through our payment provider.
• To keep the marketplace safe: preventing fraud, spam and sharing of contact details in chat, and keeping an audit trail of important actions.
• To send you service notifications about your projects and account.

What other users can see

Public freelancer profiles show your name, photo, headline, category, skills, rates, languages, city and country, portfolio, education, certifications, ratings and reviews. Your email address and mobile number are never shown to other users.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers who help us run the marketplace (for example hosting, email delivery and payments), when the law requires it, or to protect users and the platform. We do not sell personal information.

Retention and security

We keep information for as long as your account is active and as needed for legal, tax and dispute purposes. Files are stored privately and served only to authorised users; connections use HTTPS.

Your choices

You can update your profile at any time from your dashboard. To request a copy or deletion of your data, contact us through the contact page.
